| To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024), the Vietnam Military History Museum is organizing the exhibition "Heroic Army - Strong National Defense". |

Notable examples include: 5 Gold Star Orders awarded by the National Assembly, the State, and the Government to the Vietnam People's Army; Certificates and Orders of Military Merit, First Class, awarded by President Ho Chi Minh to the Liberation Army, the Southern Uprising Army, and the Bac Son Guerrilla Army in 1948. |
The flag of the Heroic Unit of the Liberation Armed Forces bears 154 medals and decorations awarded by the Provisional Government of the Republic of South Vietnam to the 367th Special Forces Regiment; the deception plan drafted by Lieutenant Colonel Khuat Duy Tien, Head of Operations, Central Highlands Front, was applied in the Central Highlands Campaign in March 1975… |
Products from several factories under the General Department of Defense Industry, the Air Force, the Navy, the Chemical Corps, the Signal Corps, and the Technical Application and Production Company Limited (TECAPRO)... were showcased at the exhibition. |
The exhibition contributes to educating cadres, soldiers of the armed forces and the people, especially the younger generation, about the revolutionary traditions and glorious achievements of our army and people in the struggle for national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland. |
