Delegates and patients who underwent cataract surgery attended the opening ceremony of the program.
This program is expected to screen 300 people for eye diseases and perform cataract surgery on 50 patients. The surgical program utilizes the modern Phaco eye surgery technique and soft intraocular lenses, resulting in minimal pain, small incisions, and the ability to remove bandages after just a few hours.
The program "Bright Eyes of Vietnam with Truong Tuoi: Lighting Up Dreams" organized five screening sessions for over 1,500 patients and performed cataract surgery for 250 underprivileged patients in the province. Each successful surgery, each smile awakened by bright eyes, means another dream is given wings.
