Light for the eyes, dreams take flight

Delegates and patients undergoing cataract surgery attend the opening ceremony of the program.

This program is expected to screen 300 people for eye diseases; at the same time, perform cataract surgery for 50 patients. The surgery program applies modern Phaco eye surgery techniques and uses soft lenses so patients do not feel pain, the incision is small and the bandage can be removed after a few hours.

The program "Brightening Vietnamese Eyes with Truong Tuoi to Light Up Dreams" was organized through 5 screening sessions for more than 1,500 patients and cataract surgery for 250 patients in difficult circumstances in the province. Each successful surgery, each smile awakened from bright eyes is another dream that takes flight.

Military Hospital 175 and Army Corps 16 rewarded collectives and individuals at the program.

At this program, 50 patients who had free surgery received cash and in-kind gifts worth 1 million VND from Regiment 16, Military Hospital 175 and Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Group.

On this occasion, Military Hospital 175 and Army Corps 16 also awarded collectives and individuals who contributed to the successful organization of the program "Brightening Vietnamese Eyes with Truong Tuoi to Light Up Dreams".
