Apple sets launch date for iPhone 17.

On the evening of August 26th ( Hanoi time), Apple sent out invitations and made announcements on its official website about the upcoming event. The company stated the time as 10:00 AM on September 9th (US time), which is 0:00 AM on October 10th in Vietnam. Currently, the only information Apple has revealed is that users can watch online.

Details about the new product haven't been revealed much. The company didn't announce the event name, unlike in previous years. The main image is a glowing Apple logo, transitioning between blue and orange tones against a black background. This could be a hint at the new orange color of the iPhone 17 Pro, according to several renders. Additionally, the color-shifting effect also suggests a new Siri activation animation.

The company has been more than a year behind schedule for this flagship product and the global AI race. Therefore, users and experts are eagerly anticipating the artificial intelligence solution the company will implement. Recently, rumors have suggested that Apple is ready to integrate Gemini or Perplexity to improve its Siri.

Previously, according to sources from Tri Thuc - Znews , the iPhone 17 series was the first generation Apple sold in Vietnam simultaneously with the rest of the world . Domestic users would no longer have to wait as long for the product as in previous years. This information was confirmed by Apple's official dealers, distributors, and media companies participating in the upcoming launch event.

“The product launch event will take place on September 9th. The product will go on sale 10 days later, on September 19th,” NC, an employee of an Apple device distributor in Vietnam, told Tri Thức - Znews. According to him, the launch event will take place on Tuesday or Wednesday, immediately followed by pre-orders for priority markets.

Apple's phone delivery schedule is fixed for Friday, usually the week after launch, which is about 10 days later. So, these rumors have been accurate so far.

According to multiple sources, the iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max will have major changes to its rear design. In particular, the more expensive iPhone will feature an upgraded zoom camera. The price of the device is also likely to increase slightly compared to its predecessor. Besides the iPhone, new Apple Watch and iPad models are also expected to be unveiled at the September event.
