According to Android Authority , while iPhone Pro models are increasingly trending towards larger screen sizes, the iPhone Plus line may go against this trend, with the iPhone 17 Plus likely to be made more compact by Apple.
According to leak expert Ross Young, the iPhone 17 Plus will have a smaller screen than its predecessors; however, the specific screen size of the iPhone 17 Plus has not yet been revealed. The iPhone 15 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen.

Young's prediction suggests that the iPhone 17 Plus screen size could fall somewhere between that of the standard iPhone 17/iPhone 17 Pro and the high-end iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Besides changes in size, the iPhone 17 series is also predicted to have other improvements in the display. According to previous reports, Apple may equip all iPhone 17 models with LTPO panels. This means that the standard and Plus iPhone models may integrate ProMotion – a display technology with a 120Hz refresh rate currently only available on Pro models.
Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, expected to launch later this year, is rumored to have the largest screen ever on an iPhone, measuring 6.9 inches. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch screen.
Although information about the iPhone 17 Plus is still quite limited, these predictions suggest that Apple may be making significant design changes to the future iPhone Plus lineup.
