Apple is looking to shrink the iPhone Plus line

According to Android Authority , while iPhone Pro models are increasingly trending towards increasing screen size, the iPhone Plus line may go against this trend, with the iPhone 17 Plus version likely to be made more compact by Apple.

According to leak expert Ross Young's prediction, the iPhone 17 Plus will have a smaller screen than previous generations, but the specific screen size of the iPhone 17 Plus has not been revealed. The iPhone 15 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen.

Young's prediction suggests that the iPhone 17 Plus display could be somewhere in between the standard iPhone 17/iPhone 17 Pro and the high-end iPhone 17 Pro Max.

In addition to the size change, the iPhone 17 series is also expected to have other improvements in the display. According to previous reports, Apple may equip all iPhone 17 models with LTPO panels. This means that the standard and Plus iPhone models may integrate ProMotion - a screen technology with a 120 Hz refresh rate that is currently only available on the Pro models.

Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, expected to launch later this year, is said to feature the largest screen ever on an iPhone at 6.9 inches. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch screen.
