"I'll Meet You on the Day of the Eclipse" (formerly titled "Love Letter to a Nun ") is directed by Le Thien Vien and produced by Ly Minh Thang. The film revolves around the love story between the main characters, a seamstress named An and an electrician named Thien, and explores the theme of love intertwined with faith. Besides the two main actors, beauty queen Doan Thien An and actor Khuong Le, the project also features the participation of People's Artist Le Khanh, Thanh Son, Huynh Phuong, Nguyen Thao, and others.
Since its release, the film has received positive feedback from audiences, leading the box office for three consecutive weeks. To date, the project has grossed over 104 billion VND, becoming the sixth Vietnamese film to join the 100 billion VND club in 2026, after Thỏ ơi (449 billion VND), Nhà ba tôi một phòng (110 billion VND), Báu vật trời cho (103 billion VND), Tài (113 billion VND), and Quỷ nhập tràng 2 (133 billion VND). In addition, the film's theme songs such as Chỉ chừng đó thôi and Hẹn ước xin khuất lời have also been widely shared on social media.
Director Le Thien Vien also revealed details about his new project titled "Waiting for You by the Moonlight " - a work that has been in development since the early days of selecting locations for the film "Meeting You on the Day of the Eclipse " at Quy Hoa leprosy village (formerly Binh Dinh province). According to the revelation, the film draws inspiration from the life story of poet Han Mac Tu and is expected to be released in 2027.
