Home team Arsenal scored two goals in the second half's stoppage time to beat Man Utd 3-1, in the key match of round four of the Premier League.
From a right corner, Rice received the ball unmarked at the second post, when the visitors failed to close it down. The $132 million midfielder volleyed the ball to the near post, beating goalkeeper Andre Onana, making it 2-1 for the home team. In the final minute, striker Gabriel Jesus completed Arsenal's quick counter-attack, turning the ball past Diogo Dalot and then slotting it into the far corner to seal a 3-1 victory.

Before scoring two goals, Arsenal seemed to have lost everything when Alejandro Garnacho scored in the 89th minute to give Man Utd a 2-1 lead. However, the goal was cancelled by VAR, confirming Garnacho was offside by just a small margin. The Emirates crowd cheered the referee's decision as if the home team had scored. And their enthusiasm seemed to fuel the Gunners' comeback win.
The last 10 minutes were much more exciting than the previous 80, when the team played cautiously. There were only three notable moments in the first half, the first being Kai Havertz's missed shot in the 13th minute from less than 10 meters away.
The German midfielder has struggled since joining Arsenal, and it was his error that led to the visitors' opening goal. Christian Eriksen stole the ball and drove down the middle before playing a pass to the left for Marcus Rashford to charge in. The England striker cut into the box and fired into the far corner, with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale getting a hand to the ball but failing to save it.
However, Arsenal responded within a minute with a brilliant one-two between Zinchenko, Martinelli and Nketiah. Martinelli finally passed to the second line for captain Martin Odegaard to shoot diagonally to equalize 1-1 for the home team.

Both teams continued to play a tight game in the second half, but failed to capitalise on their chances when they had them. First, Rashford's rebound from an almost empty goal hit the home defender's leg. Then Saka missed a chance to tap in from close range when he kicked the ball into the leg of goalkeeper Onana.
VAR also took away Arsenal's joy once in the match, when referee Anthony Taylor awarded them a penalty after Havertz collided with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and fell in the penalty area. However, after reviewing the situation, the referee changed his decision and canceled the penalty.
The match statistics show that Arsenal did better in key areas, especially with 12 corners, four times as many as their opponents. Rice's goal also came from such a situation.
Meanwhile, Man Utd continued to show a lackluster performance, with only a rare bright spot in new signing Rasmus Hojlund. The 20-year-old striker only played the last 30 minutes but impressed with his ability to sweep the ball, although he did not have the chance to bring about results.
