"A Journey Through a Hundred Flowers" - Tet 2026

Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the final days of the lunar year, as the twelfth lunar month arrives in every street corner, the Bach Hoa Bo Hanh Vietnamese Traditional Costume Parade (Tet 2026) officially returns to Hanoi as a highlight activity within the framework of the "Vietnamese Tet - Street Tet" series of events in Hanoi's Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake area.

This is a special procession celebrating the traditional Lunar New Year, recreating the festive atmosphere of the spring festival of ancient Vietnamese people through a walking parade combined with traditional rituals, telling stories about Vietnamese costumes, cultural rituals - the spiritual life of the community within the urban heritage space. The program is jointly organized by the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board, the Vietnamese Village Temple Club, Bach Hoa Walking Parade, and other units such as the Vietnam Archery Club, Pham Gia Ao Dai, Thong Dong, Phu Tho Xoan Singing, Bong dance, lion dance, etc.

The procession and parade will be held on Sunday morning, February 8th, 2026 (corresponding to the 21st day of the 12th lunar month) , with the participation of numerous individuals, groups practicing Vietnamese traditional clothing, and organizations working in the cultural and creative fields. Participants will wear traditional Vietnamese costumes from the Le Trung Hung - Nguyen dynasties , carrying symbols of spring such as peach blossoms, narcissus pots, apricot blossoms, white plum blossoms, bougainvillea, etc. , and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of the New Year.

The procession, including people and horses, will start from the Hanoi Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center (50 Dao Duy Tu Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) , perform the ritual of opening the O Quan Chuong Gate , then move through the old streets of Hang Chieu, Hang Duong, Hang Ngang, Hang Dao , Hoan Kiem Lake , and stop for a ceremony at Kim Ngan Temple (42 Hang Bac Street) - a typical religious and professional space of ancient Thang Long.

One day earlier, on February 7th, 2026, the Vietnamese traditional costume parade "Bach Hoa Bo Hanh" will also appear at the 2026 Spring Fair at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - this is the opening activity in the Bach Hoa Bo Hanh series of events (Tet 2026) .
