British media outlets have unanimously confirmed that Gareth Bale and a group of American investors have agreed to acquire a stake in Plymouth Argyle.

According to The Telegraph , the Tottenham legend will head the US investment group in Plymouth. Negotiations are currently underway between Plymouth and the investment group, which includes members of the Storch family.

Sources indicate that the investment group led by Bale is in discussions for an offer to take full control of Home Park. Plymouth chairman Simon Hallett has been seeking new funding for the club for at least a year.
