The Party Central Committee directs the response to Typhoon No. 9.

VTV.vn - The Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee has requested Party committees and authorities at all levels to tighten guidance and proactively respond to super typhoon Ragasa, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

According to a report from the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, Super Typhoon Ragasa has moved into the East Sea. It is predicted that by the morning of September 25, 2025, Typhoon No. 9 will move into the Gulf of Tonkin, directly affecting Vietnam from Quang Ninh to Ha Tinh .

This is a very strong storm, moving rapidly, with a wide and dangerous range and intensity of impact on both land and sea. Given the complex developments of Typhoon No. 9, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee has directed:

1. Party committees, Party organizations, government agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations in affected areas should strengthen their direction, supervision, and inspection to proactively respond to storms and heavy rains, the risk of flash floods, landslides, and flooding, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property, as well as state property, and minimizing damage. Daily updates on the situation should be submitted to the Central Party Office (before 4 PM daily).

2. The Central Party Office shall take the lead in coordinating with relevant agencies to monitor and compile information, and report daily to the Politburo and the Secretariat on the relevant situation.
