The Secretariat directs response to storm No. 9

VTV.vn - The Standing Secretariat requested Party committees and authorities at all levels to tighten direction and proactively respond to super typhoon Ragasa, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

According to the report of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, super typhoon Ragasa has moved into the East Sea. It is forecasted that by the morning of September 25, 2025, typhoon No. 9 will move into the Gulf of Tonkin, directly affecting our country from Quang Ninh to Ha Tinh .

This is a very strong storm, moving quickly, with a wide and dangerous range and intensity of impact on sea and land. Given the complex developments of storm No. 9, the Standing Secretariat directed:

1. Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations in affected areas shall strengthen direction, supervision, inspection, and proactive response to storms and heavy rains, risks of flash floods, landslides, and inundation, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property and State property, minimizing damage. Update the situation daily and send reports to the Central Party Office (before 4:00 p.m. daily).

2. The Central Party Office shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to monitor and synthesize the situation, and daily report to the Politburo and Secretariat on relevant situations.
