Beyond its urgent progress, the Quang Trung Campaign also left a profound mark on the sense of responsibility, the synchronized involvement of the entire political system, and the strength of community solidarity in helping people rebuild their lives.

Throughout the Quang Trung Campaign, the timely, responsible, and compassionate involvement of forces from all levels of government to the police, military, and militia was evident. The spirit of "those who can contribute help with their labor, those who can contribute resources help with their resources" was not just a slogan but became concrete actions, spreading strongly throughout the community. On the reconstruction projects, the image of soldiers and police officers eating and living with the people, working day and night, regardless of sun or rain, became familiar, significantly shortening construction time and ensuring the quality of each house.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, presented certificates of commendation from the Provincial People's Committee to collectives with outstanding achievements in the Quang Trung Campaign.

In his newly built house, which received government assistance, Mr. Tran Van Khanh (Hoa Thinh commune) couldn't hide his emotion: "After the flood, if it weren't for the support of the State, the army, the police, and the local authorities, I don't know when my wife and I would have been able to rebuild our collapsed house. Now that we're living in a sturdy new house, I feel at ease."

The joy of Mr. Khanh's family is also the shared emotion of hundreds of households severely affected by the devastating floods. From houses swept away, new homes have been built swiftly, sturdily, and with compassion. "To date, the entire commune has completed the construction of 117 new houses for people whose homes were destroyed or swept away; and repaired 156 damaged houses. The Quang Trung campaign in the area has been completed amidst the joy, emotion, and trust of the people in the Party, the State, and the armed forces," said Mr. Phuong Van Lanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoa Thinh commune.

After more than a month of rapid implementation of the Quang Trung Campaign, Dak Lak province has built and repaired 6,953 houses with a total cost of over 193 billion VND; including 606 new houses built with a support of 170 million VND/house; and 6,347 houses repaired. All households that lost or had their houses damaged now have new, safe homes to celebrate Tet.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, affirmed: “The Quang Trung Campaign is a total mobilization of all resources to quickly stabilize the lives of people after natural disasters. The completion of housing construction and repair according to commitments not only reflects the progress of implementation, but also serves as vivid evidence of community strength, the spirit of great solidarity, and the high political determination of the province in implementing the campaign as well as social welfare policies for the people.”

On the day the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to summarize the work and bid farewell to the officers and soldiers of Military Region 5 returning to their units, the Dong Khoi National Historical Site in Hoa Thinh commune was filled with poignant moments of camaraderie between the military and the people. For the past two months, after selflessly rescuing people during the devastating floods, the officers and soldiers continued their tireless efforts in rebuilding homes as part of the Quang Trung Campaign. Now, with the new houses completed and the land beginning to revive, they are returning to their units. Hundreds of people have set aside their work to see them off, their eyes red with tears and their arms tightly embracing them.

“I was assigned the task of documenting the soldiers as they left the village to return to their unit after more than a month of building houses for the villagers. But when I saw the villagers crying, I couldn't hold back my tears either,” said Captain Hoang Minh Tuan, Deputy Political Officer of Battalion 2, Regiment 143, Division 315, Military Region 5.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung presents gifts to households in Hoa Thinh commune that suffered damage during the recent floods.

The Quang Trung Campaign continued the tradition of "The army comes from the people and serves the people" of Uncle Ho's army, writing a heroic epic in peacetime. The campaign officially ended, but as Colonel Cao Van Muoi, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5, affirmed: "The end of the campaign also marks the beginning of new life. The lasting impressions of human connection and the strong bond between the army and the people will forever be etched in everyone's hearts. That is the most resounding victory."

Recently, during a visit to households whose houses were newly built during the Quang Trung Campaign in Hoa Thinh commune and a working session with Dak Lak province, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung assessed: "Dak Lak has been very decisive and has adopted a systematic and effective approach in implementing the Quang Trung Campaign. The province has mobilized the combined strength of various forces, effectively promoting the roles of the army, police, and local authorities, while ensuring transparency and targeting the right beneficiaries. The results achieved not only promptly address the housing issue after the natural disaster but also contribute to strengthening the people's trust, creating an important foundation for the recovery and socio-economic development of the locality in the coming time."
