The Industry and Trade Newspaper is enhancing the effective use of artificial intelligence in content creation.

(CLO) On March 25th, the Industry and Trade Newspaper organized a training course on "Digital Transformation and the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Modern Journalism".

In his opening remarks at the training course, journalist Nguyen Van Minh, Editor-in-Chief of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, emphasized that we are living in an era where technology is changing every hour, every second. No field can stand outside the wave of digital transformation, and journalism is no exception.

According to Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh, AI is a powerful tool, but it can be inaccurate, biased, and even cause information disruption if not properly controlled. We learn about AI, apply AI, but we shouldn't leave it entirely to AI. The pen still rests in the hands of the journalist. The power of decision still belongs to our conscience, intellect, and professional responsibility.

During the training course, participants received basic knowledge about AI from Mr. Vu The Cuong, Lecturer at the Academy of Journalism and Communication. He also introduced and guided them on how to use tools such as ChatGPT, NotebookLM, Canva, Capcut, etc., in multimedia journalism.

In addition, experts will guide officials, reporters, and editors in using artificial intelligence tools in content creation, such as: AI article drafting to optimize titles and SEO keywords, AI article structure to summarize journalistic content, automatic description writing, and content optimization on digital platforms.

AI applications in journalistic data analysis, illustration creation, and multimedia content production include: AI-generated audio, video from text, automated video editing, and short videos.

Simultaneously, the study analyzes and discusses the challenges in applying AI to multimedia journalism.
