Flexible adaptation
From the very first days of 2026, Tuyen Quang LGG Garment Company - Yen Son Branch successfully exported a shipment of over 100,000 quilted jackets to the South Korean and European markets. To conquer these demanding markets, each of the company's products had to meet rigorous inspection requirements.
From the selection of raw materials to production, the company strictly adheres to technical procedures and quality standards required by international partners. The company's products fully meet all certification requirements regarding origin, quality, and occupational safety. Each batch is closely monitored at every stage, undergoes rigorous quality control, and is strictly labeled before shipment and customs clearance.

Ms. Dang Hong Duyen, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Tuyen Quang LGG Garment Corporation - Yen Son Branch, said: “Currently, the company is focusing its workforce, organizing overtime shifts, and launching production emulation campaigns among workshops to accelerate the progress of orders and complete them before the Lunar New Year. The company guarantees that immediately after the Tet holiday, the new batch of products will be shipped as committed to our partners.”
At wood processing, textile, and footwear factories, workers are currently working overtime, and machinery is operating continuously to meet final orders in time for the Lunar New Year. Many businesses are focusing on improving technical standards, designs, and strictly adhering to environmental and labor regulations of export markets. This is considered a key factor in helping businesses maintain credibility with partners and secure stable orders in an increasingly competitive environment.
Mr. Tran Hai Anh, General Director of Thai Hoang Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, Vinh Tuy commune, said: “The export orders for wood flooring that the company signed from the end of the fourth quarter of 2025 will be concentrated for delivery at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 to markets such as the US and Cambodia. Many customers requested that the company complete and deliver the goods before the Lunar New Year.”
Therefore, the company must accelerate production to avoid impacting its partners' supply chains and expects to ship approximately 2,000 cubic meters of wood flooring by the end of January. Simultaneously, this year the company has expanded its market, seeking partners in European countries. In January 2026, the company will put into operation a raw material drying system, with an investment of nearly 900 million VND, to meet orders with stricter standards in the new year.”
Market expansion
According to statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade, the total import and export turnover of goods by businesses and through border gates in the province in 2025 is estimated at 1,031.84 million USD, an increase of 86.44% compared to the previous year (reaching 135.5% of the plan). Among these, product groups such as various types of tea, plywood, and PP tarpaulin are the groups with the largest export value.
Besides traditional markets, many businesses have proactively sought partners and expanded their export markets to many potential countries and regions, gradually diversifying markets, mitigating risks, and increasing the added value of their products.
The export of agricultural and forestry products plays a crucial role in the province's economic growth. Many of the province's distinctive agricultural products, such as dried lotus seeds, bananas, tea, pomelo, guava tea, cassava starch, honey, and male papaya flowers, are not only exported to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland but have also expanded to markets in countries such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, the EU, Brazil, Pakistan, China, India, and Russia.
Mr. Le Huy Giang, Director of My Lam Tea Joint Stock Company, said: “In 2025, the company will export more than 820 tons of various types of green and black tea. The export value is estimated at nearly 1.19 million USD, exceeding the plan by more than 20%. In 2026, the company will seek new markets in Japan, China, India, and Russia; expanding the export market for green tea products to Asia more than exporting unprocessed black tea to Central European countries as before. In particular, the company will invest in new machinery to improve product quality and meet the increasingly high demands of other countries. The company's goal is to strive for a 150% increase in export value in 2026 compared to 2025.”
Besides the efforts from businesses themselves, support from relevant agencies helps businesses feel secure in production and export. Procedures related to import and export, and customs clearance are coordinated and resolved promptly; trade promotion and market connection activities are strengthened, creating conditions for businesses to expand their export markets.
Comrade Luong Trung Kien, Head of Tuyen Quang Customs, said: “The unit has reformed administrative procedures, facilitating trade by providing customs clearance services through the VNACSS/VCIS and VASCM electronic customs data processing systems on all devices. The unit applies the digitization of customs documents and files, automatically receiving and returning files to shorten customs clearance time; providing information on trade defense policies and measures of various markets so that businesses can understand and be proactive in production, business activities and contract signing.”
Businesses' efforts to boost production and ensure export schedules, especially for orders delivered before the Lunar New Year, not only demonstrate their adaptability but also affirm their determination to maintain market share. This, in turn, enhances the position of the province's export products in the international market.
