Ensuring the standards, structure, and quality of delegates.
The preparation of candidates for election in the province was carried out seriously and according to procedures, ensuring the comprehensive leadership of the Party and promoting the role of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations in the consultation and nomination of candidates. The rational structuring of the representation across different sectors, fields, and geographical areas, ensuring the appropriate proportion of female delegates, young delegates, delegates from ethnic minorities, and delegates outside the Party, was given due attention to fully reflect the voices of all strata of the people in society.
Along with the structure, the quality of delegates has always been a consistent criterion. The Provincial Election Committee resolutely rejects from the list of candidates those who do not meet the standards, show signs of ideological and political decline, moral decay, irresponsibility, or lack of credibility among the people. The consistent viewpoint is "not to lower standards for the sake of structure," taking standards as the foundation and the people's trust as the most important measure.

Promoting democracy and emphasizing the supervisory role of the people in ensuring full and substantive participation in the candidate selection process has been a top priority for the province. All levels and sectors have organized and implemented the process systematically. Consultative meetings and meetings to gather opinions from voters in their places of residence and work regarding nominated candidates have been conducted seriously and in accordance with regulations, ensuring that voters can express their opinions frankly, objectively, and responsibly. The opinions and trust of voters serve as an important information channel, helping relevant agencies comprehensively assess the qualities, capabilities, and reputation of candidates. Through this process, truly outstanding individuals, trusted and supported by the people, will be nominated, contributing to improving the quality of elected representatives.
According to Comrade Do Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Internal Affairs and Secretary of the Provincial Election Committee: As of early February 2026, 100% of agencies, organizations, and units allocated the structure, composition, and number of delegates in the province have completed the nomination of their representatives to run for National Assembly and People's Council delegates at all levels. By February 9th, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province had completed the second consultative conference, compiling a list of 5,365 candidates for National Assembly and People's Council delegates. Of these, 14 are candidates for the National Assembly, 103 for the Provincial People's Council, and 5,248 for the Commune People's Council. All candidates meet the required structure, composition, and qualifications for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The responsibility of candidates to voters and the people.
Running for election to the National Assembly and People's Councils is not only an honor but also a great responsibility before the Party, the State, and the People. Candidates must be clearly aware of their role and position, proactively develop practical and feasible action programs, linked to the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and improving the lives of the people in their localities.
Comrade Ma Thi Thuy, a member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies working full-time, and a candidate for the 16th National Assembly, affirmed that if elected by voters, she will always uphold a high sense of responsibility, maintain close ties with the people, listen attentively to the thoughts and aspirations of voters, and promptly and truthfully reflect them to the National Assembly and relevant agencies. At the same time, she will actively participate in lawmaking, supervise policy implementation, contribute to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people, and make practical contributions to the sustainable development of the province and the country.
Voters in Tuyen Quang province have high expectations for the election, hoping to choose truly worthy representatives who will voice the people's opinions and accompany the province on its new path of development. This confidence stems from the seriousness and responsibility in the election preparation work of all levels and sectors; from ensuring the standards and quality of candidates; and from the democratic, open, and transparent atmosphere throughout the entire organization process.
With the synchronized involvement of the entire political system, the spirit of solidarity, consensus, and the positive response of the people, the election of National Assembly representatives and People's Council representatives at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in the province will be successful, selecting qualified candidates worthy of the voters' trust, contributing to building a stronger National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, meeting the development requirements of the country and Tuyen Quang province in the new period.
