Ensuring safe operation of the power grid.

In order to improve electricity supply services and serve socio-economic development, Thai Nguyen Power Company carried out major repairs to the power grid in 2026 for several items in Van Lang commune.

Repairing the 35kV power grid in Van Lang commune.

Accordingly, the 35kV power line section at Khuoi Co branch and the Kim Hy and Kim Hy 2 branches will undergo repairs and replacement of many long-operating equipment that pose a safety risk.

The power sector will replace approximately 10km of aging power lines; replace hundreds of insulator strings and insulators; and renovate and supplement equipment at substations such as conductors, grounding systems, and operating platforms. Most of these power lines and substations were put into operation between 2001 and 2010, and many pieces of equipment have now deteriorated, posing a potential risk of accidents during operation, especially in the complex mountainous terrain.

The implementation of major repairs not only contributes to ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid but also improves the quality of electricity supply for people in the area, creating favorable conditions for the development of production and daily life, and attracting investment in the locality.
