Violence escalates in the West Bank

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the agency used a drone to “destroy a terrorist group in the West Bank.”

The agency stressed that this was a special move usually only used to attack dangerous terrorists or rocket launchers in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources said an Israeli military drone carried out an airstrike on a car near the village of Al-Jalama, north of Jenin. All three Palestinians in the car were killed.

The incident comes amid escalating violence in the West Bank in recent days. According to Xinhua, since the beginning of the week, at least 13 Palestinians and 4 Israelis have been killed.
