On January 20th, the Bac Giang Provincial Police announced that they have initiated criminal proceedings for health insurance fraud that occurred at Duc Giang Medical Company Limited in Hanoi.
Accordingly, the police have initiated legal proceedings and arrested Nguyen Thi Hue (born in 1977, residing in Duc Giang commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province), Director of Duc Giang Medical Company Limited - Hanoi , and also Director of Duc Giang Multi-Specialty Clinic, on charges of health insurance fraud.
These decisions have been approved by the People's Procuratorate of Bac Giang province.
The Police Investigation Agency is carrying out legal proceedings against the suspect Nguyen Thi Hue (wearing a red shirt).
The Investigation Police Department of Bac Giang Provincial Police, in coordination with the Yen Dung District Police, has organized the implementation of legal proceedings against the defendant Nguyen Thi Hue in accordance with the law.
Previously, the Economic Police Department of Bac Giang Provincial Police discovered information about suspected health insurance fraud at Duc Giang Multi-Specialty Clinic in Hanoi, so they mobilized forces to investigate and clarify the matter.
The investigation determined that Nguyen Thi Hue, in her role as Director of the Clinic, instructed her staff to falsify medical records for health insurance purposes in order to embezzle a large sum of money.
Currently, the Investigation Police Department of Bac Giang province is continuing to investigate and expand the case, and will handle the suspects according to the law.
