Arresting the "female monster" who defrauded people of contributing capital to buy land and embezzling 1 billion VND

The Criminal Police Department, City Police has just issued a decision to prosecute and arrest Ngo Vu Thuy Nha Truc (49 years old), residing in Hoa Minh ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city, for fraud and property appropriation.

Initial investigation results determined that around the end of May 2019, Mr. Nguyen Quang T (49 years old), residing in Hai Chau 1 ward, Hai Chau district, Da Nang city, had an agreement to buy a plot of land at alley 610 Ton Dan street, Hoa Phat ward, Cam Le district, Da Nang city owned by Mr. Thai Van T (46 years old), residing in Hoa An ward, Cam Le district. Because she lived in the same house with Mr. Nguyen Quang T., Ngo Vu Thuy Nha Truc knew the above information.

The Investigation Police Agency of Da Nang City Police served decisions on Ngo Vu Thuy Nha Truc

In early June 2019, although he did not buy or sell or deposit the land plot at lane 610 Ton Dan, because he needed money to pay debts and personal expenses, Truc lied to an acquaintance, Mr. Ho Thanh T (52 years old), residing in Hoa Thuan Tay ward, Hai Chau district, that he contributed capital to deposit the above land plot. Trusting the information provided by Truc, in two days (June 3 and 4, 2019), Mr. Ho Thanh T twice gave 1 billion VND in cash to Ngo Vu Thuy Nha Truc to contribute capital to buy land. After receiving the money, Truc used it to pay debts and personal expenses.

Upon discovering the incident, Mr. Ho Thanh T filed a complaint against Truc’s actions with the police. During the investigation, the police determined that Truc’s actions had sufficient elements to constitute the crime of fraud and appropriation of property, so they prosecuted and temporarily detained Truc for investigation.
