Caught 12 subjects organizing illegal drug use

Through the work of grasping the situation, at about 2:00 a.m. on June 1, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department in coordination with the Administrative Management Police Department of Social Order of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police and Bim Son Town Police discovered and caught 12 subjects including 6 men and 6 women, organizing illegal use of drugs at Ruby karaoke bar owned by Hoang Diep, born in 1980 in Ngoc Trao ward, Bim Son town.

At the scene, the police seized two plastic bags containing ecstasy and synthetic drugs (ketamine), a white ceramic plate with a lot of synthetic drugs in candy form on it, and many other related evidences. Through quick testing, 7/12 subjects tested positive for drugs.

According to initial investigation documents, Hoang Diep, the owner of Ruby karaoke bar, is a notorious criminal with many criminal records. Diep often gathers drug addicts to the bar to organize drug use even though the facility is temporarily suspended due to not meeting fire prevention regulations.

On the evening of May 31, Diep invited a number of drug addicts to a karaoke bar to organize drug use, but was discovered and caught red-handed by the police.

Currently, the case is under investigation and expansion.
