The scene where the subjects carried out illegal mineral exploitation.
Previously, on July 22, at Duong Bao quarter, the interdisciplinary task force caught subjects illegally mining soil and rock on an area of over 1,000 square meters. At the scene, the task force seized many exhibits and means of violation, including: 1 excavator (type 9), 2 large trucks and about more than 100 cubic meters of excavated soil and rock.
Through initial investigation, the subjects confessed that Mr. Tu Van N. (born in 1979, residing in group 8, quarter 1, An Minh commune, An Giang province) was the organizer of illegal exploitation, taking advantage of remote areas with few people passing by to commit violations.
Mr. N. hired Mr. To Xuan T. (born in 1979, residing in Hamlet 1, Yen Khanh Commune, Ninh Binh Province) to operate an excavator, hoist the soil onto a truck, operated by Mr. Vo Van K. (born in 1982, residing in Phu Quoi Hamlet, Phu An Commune), to transport and sell to individuals who need to level the ground and construct projects.
At the time of inspection, the subjects could not present mineral exploitation licenses issued by competent authorities. The working group made a record, temporarily seized all exhibits and means of violation, and handed over the case to Phu Quoc Special Zone Police to continue investigating, verifying and strictly handling according to the provisions of law.
