Searching for the man accused of fraud and appropriation of 300 million VND

On the morning of November 8, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Province Police announced that it had issued a decision to search for Mai Thanh Long (born in 1969, residing at 7M Le Loi Street, Chau Doc Ward, An Giang Province), to serve the investigation of the case of "Fraudulent appropriation of property".

Through verifying the content of the denunciation of Mr. DVD (born in 1965, residing in Chau Doc ward, An Giang province), it was determined that: On November 22, 2021, Mai Thanh Long called Mr. D. to borrow 300 million VND to complete the land transfer procedures and promised to return the money to Mr. D after 7 days. Believing Long's words, on the same day, Mr. D. borrowed 300 million VND from the bank and transferred the money to Long; after that, Long fled the locality until now.

Currently, it is unclear where Long is, and a search is needed to resolve crime reports. The An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Agency requests that individuals, agencies, and organizations with information about Long immediately notify the Investigation Team of the Office of the An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Agency (address: No. 507, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province), contact investigator Huynh Van Trong, phone number: 0962.999.967 or the nearest police agency.
