Construction of Kenh Moi - Nam Vinh Te bridge connecting O Lam and Vinh Gia communes started

On November 8, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of O Lam and Vinh Gia communes (An Giang province) started construction of the Kenh Moi - Nam Vinh Te bridge, connecting O Lam and Vinh Gia communes. This is a project to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).

The New Canal - Nam Vinh Te Bridge was built to replace the degraded wooden bridge, connecting An Nhon hamlet, O Lam commune with Vinh Thanh 3 production sub-region, Vinh Gia commune. The bridge is designed with reinforced concrete pillars and foundation; iron and steel bridge deck and railings, 36m long, 3 spans, 3.5m wide bridge deck, 15m clearance, ensuring the circulation of cars and small trucks.

The project is being constructed by the bridge construction team of Mr. Huynh Van On, Trung Truc Charity Association (Rach Gia ward), expected to be completed and put into use before Lunar New Year 2026. The total cost of the bridge construction is more than 700 million VND, contributed by O Lam and Vinh Gia communes, mobilizing businesses and benefactors.
