Investigating 3 cases of property theft in An Giang province

At around 10am on November 7, BTTP (38 years old, residing in Phu Hoa commune, An Giang province) discovered through the camera that the family's maid, Mai Thi Thu Thuy, was stealing property. Ms. P. immediately reported to the Phu Hoa commune police.

When the police arrived at the house, they caught Thuy red-handed stealing money. After checking Thuy's person and car, the police seized a total of 15 million VND. Thuy confessed that she stole all of this money from Mrs. P's family.

Also on November 7, C.D Company (Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang) reported the theft of many construction equipment at the material warehouse in Tay Khanh 2 Hamlet, Long Xuyen Ward. The lost assets included hundreds of sets of scaffolding, steel bars, corrugated iron sheets, and many other construction machines, with a total estimated loss of about 1.9 billion VND.

On the same day, around 12 o'clock, Tran Khanh Dien (31 years old, residing in Chau Doc ward, An Giang) went to Le Van Thong's house (19 years old, residing in Chau Doc ward) to play. Here, Thong invited Dien to go steal a motorbike to sell for money to spend, Dien agreed.CP

Discovering NTT’s white-red Honda Future F1 parked in the yard of motel “N.1” without anyone watching, Thong used a lock-breaking tool to steal it, then together with Dien, brought the bike to Tinh Bien border gate to sell it to an acquaintance named Phuc. After that, the bike was sold to Cambodia for 13 million VND.

When he discovered the car was missing, T. checked the camera and recognized Thong. Both of them then went to Chau Doc Ward Police Station to confess. According to the valuation, the car was worth 37 million VND.

Currently, the cases are being investigated and clarified by An Giang Provincial Police.
