Open 10 ethnic knowledge training classes in An Giang province

On the morning of November 10, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province coordinated with Tra Vinh University, the People's Committee of Rach Gia ward, and Binh An commune to organize the opening ceremony of a training course on ethnic knowledge for cadres, civil servants, and public employees (belonging to group 4).

Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, Danh Lam, introduced the topic of state management of ethnic minority culture.

The training course had nearly 100 delegates from the 4th group of Rach Gia ward and Binh An commune attending. During the 4 days, the trainees approached 6 key topics on the viewpoints, policies, guidelines of the Party and the State's policies on ethnic affairs; the national defense and security situation in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the country in general, An Giang province in particular, along with many other practical contents related to the tasks of grassroots work.

Danh Phuc, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, said that in 2025, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions will open 10 ethnic knowledge training classes for group 4 in the province. Up to now, the department has opened 9 classes with over 350 students who are cadres, civil servants, and public employees in communes and wards with a large ethnic population. The last class held in Giong Rieng commune will open this week.
