Bac Ha: Collected more than 400 units of blood at the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival

On the morning of November 11, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Bac Ha commune coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and Bac Ha Regional General Hospital to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival "Pink Drops on the White Plateau in November", attracting 580 participants and receiving more than 400 units of blood.

Attending the event were representatives of the Lao Cai Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee, leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the commune, along with a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, youth union members, armed forces and local people.

The festival attracted many volunteers to participate.

The program took place in a lively, warm atmosphere. From early morning, hundreds of volunteers, union members, youth and people were present to register to donate blood. The organization was carried out strictly, scientifically and safely according to professional procedures.

The Commune Health Station coordinates with the medical team of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to ensure medical conditions, check health and take blood according to regulations.

The program collected 403 units of blood.

The collected blood will be transferred to the Provincial Blood Bank and the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to promptly serve patients in need of blood transfusion. The Bac Ha Commune Blood Donation Steering Committee said it will continue to maintain propaganda activities and expand the regular blood donation movement in the community.
