Awarding ceremony of the Writing Contest with the theme "For a green, harmonious, unique and happy Lao Cai" in 2025

On the morning of November 11, 2025, the Lao Cai Provincial Literature and Arts Association held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the essay writing contest with the theme "For a green, harmonious, unique and happy Lao Cai" in 2025.

After 8 months of launching (from February to October 2025), the Organizing Committee of the contest received 67 signed works from 34 authors, of which 46 quality works were selected to be published in the Provincial Literature and Arts Magazine.

Delegates and authors attended the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the contest.

According to the jury's assessment, the contest has affirmed the role of literature and art in spiritual life, spreading humanistic values, contributing to propagating and realizing the goals, guidelines, policies, directives and resolutions of the Party, State, Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province.

The contest received attention, response and participation from many professional and amateur authors.

The works participating in the contest have rich content and diverse styles, reflecting the beauty of nature, people, culture, historical traditions, economy , potential, and innovation efforts of Lao Cai; many works are rich in details and emotions, have the ability to spread and have a positive social impact...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mui - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee awarded the B prize to authors Hoang Kim Yen and Nguyen Thi Tam, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

Ms. Vu Thi Mai Oanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lao Cai province awarded prizes to the authors who won the C prize.

Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Van Gia presented awards to the authors who won the Encouragement Prize of the contest.

As a result, the Jury agreed that there would be no A prize; 2 B prizes, 3 C prizes and 6 Encouragement prizes were awarded to the authors, of which the B prize belonged to the authors: Hoang Kim Yen and Nguyen Thi Tam, Provincial Literature and Arts Association.
