The Hai Phong City Women's Union has just issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025), and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).

Accordingly, the activities aim to review the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women and Hai Phong women; affirm the important role, position and contribution of the association and women in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, honor the beauty, arouse the pride, solidarity and trust of women in the Party, create a vibrant competitive atmosphere among cadres, members and women in the whole city.

Notably, the City Women's Union will organize a commemorative conference, meet union officials at all levels, summarize a special emulation period, award prizes for a writing contest and exhibit models and typical examples of "Dam hoa hai port", and coordinate to present ao dai to union officials at all levels.

In addition, there are a series of activities to support cooperatives/cooperative groups led and managed by women; women starting businesses such as: Establishing and launching a club for women leaders of cooperatives/cooperative groups; trade promotion conferences to display and introduce startup products; summarizing the competition for women's startup ideas and summarizing Project 939 for the period 2022 - 2027...

At the grassroots level, the Women's Union of communes, wards and units will carry out many cultural, artistic, sports and traditional education activities; care for and support women in difficult circumstances; promote the application of information technology, towards digital transformation in implementing activities.

The activities are organized to ensure practicality, efficiency, and economy, becoming a widespread political activity among cadres, members, and women, associated with propaganda for the Women's Congresses at all levels, and timely commendation and reward of outstanding collectives and individuals.
