Awarding prizes for the writing contest and exhibiting exemplary models under the theme "The Charming Flowers of Hai Phong"; summarizing the women's entrepreneurship idea contest... these are some of the highlights that will take place during this year's celebration of Vietnamese Women's Day.

The Hai Phong City Women's Union has just issued a plan to organize activities to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025) and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).

Accordingly, the activities aim to commemorate the glorious traditions of Vietnamese women and Hai Phong women; affirm the role, position, and important contributions of women's organizations and women in the cause of national construction and defense. At the same time, they honor the beauty, awaken pride, solidarity, and trust of women in the Party, and create a vibrant atmosphere of emulation among cadres, members, and women throughout the city.

Notably, the City Women's Union will organize a commemorative conference, a meeting with union officials at all levels, a summary of the special emulation campaign, an awards ceremony for the writing competition, and an exhibition of exemplary models and examples under the theme "The Charming Flowers of the Port City," and will also coordinate the presentation of traditional Vietnamese ao dai dresses to union officials at all levels.

In addition, there is a series of activities to support cooperatives/associations led and managed by women, and women entrepreneurs, such as: establishing and launching clubs for female leaders of cooperatives/associations; trade promotion conferences showcasing and introducing startup products; summarizing the women's startup idea competition and summarizing Project 939 for the period 2022-2027…

At the grassroots level, the Women's Union of communes, wards, and units will implement many cultural, artistic, sports, and traditional education activities; care for and support women in difficult circumstances; and promote the application of information technology, aiming for digital transformation in the implementation of activities.

The activities were organized in a practical, effective, and economical manner, becoming a widespread political campaign among cadres, members, and women, linked to the dissemination of information about the Women's Congress at all levels, and promptly commending and rewarding outstanding collectives and individuals.
