The specialized session of the 10th term An Giang Provincial People's Council is scheduled to take place on November 18.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of An Giang province Nguyen Thanh Nhan; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Ho Van Mung; Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Le Thanh Viet co-chaired the conference.

After discussion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council agreed on a number of contents registered by the Provincial People's Committee to be submitted at the meeting, including a resolution on legal regulations related to policies to support the overcoming of animal diseases in An Giang province; individual resolutions such as the resolution on adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 from the central budget and local budget sources in the province; a resolution on adjusting and supplementing the 2025 public investment plan from the central budget and local budget sources in the province; a resolution on adjusting and supplementing the list of works and projects that must recover land to be implemented in 2025 in the province; a resolution on deciding on the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes to implement the Phu Quoc 220kV Transformer Station project.

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee approved Document No. 305/TTr-UBND, dated November 6, 2025 on registering the Provincial People's Council to organize a thematic session.

After the conference, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial People's Council held a meeting in November 2025. At the meeting, the Economic - Budget Committee gave opinions on the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee to register to draft a resolution regulating the level of expenditure to ensure international agreement work in the province; the proposal on requesting opinions on funding support for the Provincial Military Command to renovate and repair the offices of the regional defense command.

The Ethnic Council of the Provincial People's Council gave its opinion on the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee to draft a resolution of the Provincial People's Council regulating the level of support for building new traditional Ngo boats of the Khmer ethnic group in the province.

The Committee for Culture and Society gave its opinion on the submission of the Provincial People's Committee to register to develop a resolution regulating the content and expenditure levels of a number of activities serving the health and population goals in the province.

The Legal Committee reports and gives opinions on the following contents: The proposed plan for the structure, composition, and number of delegates of the An Giang Provincial People's Council, term XI, 2026 - 2031, stipulating the number of full-time members of the Provincial People's Council and Deputy Heads of the People's Council at the commune level; reporting on the proposed number of members who are full-time People's Council delegates of the Provincial People's Council Committee; the number of Deputy Heads of the People's Council at the commune level according to Resolution No. 106/2025/UBTVQH15...
