
Specifically, fishing boat BTh 80681 TS, 11.5 meters long, 45 CV capacity, trawling, owned and captained by Mr. Chau Vu Khuyen (born in 1979, residing in Minh Tan 2 village, Phan Ri Cua commune, Lam Dong province), and fishing boat BTh 88320 TS, 12.2 meters long, 30 CV capacity, owned and captained by Mr. Tran Van Duc (born in 1982, residing in Xuan Giang 2 village, Phan Ri Cua commune), had their anchor rope broken while anchored on the Luy River, drifted out to sea and sank.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, but property damage was estimated at around 310 million VND. Immediately after the incident, the authorities coordinated with local authorities to continue to inform and educate fishing boat owners about the situation of flood discharge, requesting that boat owners proactively reinforce anchors, protect boats, and minimize damage.
