However, the consequences of the flood were enormous, with collapsed houses, damaged boats, broken trees, mud clinging to houses... Together with the departments, branches and organizations of the province, the entire Dak Lak police force continued to carry out the "dual task": both supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods, stabilizing their lives and maintaining good security and order in the area.
With the motto of staying close to the people and being ready to support them before, during and after the storm, even though the water has receded, the Dak Lak Provincial Police force continues to maintain shock and rapid response teams fully equipped with rescue vehicles and essential medical supplies. Upon receiving information about people trapped or in need of emergency assistance, the teams immediately set off, ensuring timely presence, quickly handling incidents, rescuing people and property, etc.
In localities severely affected by storms and floods, the Provincial Police Youth Union, Mobile Police Department, Fire Prevention and Rescue Department are working with local people to urgently clean up mud and dirt at schools, medical stations, historical sites, agencies and houses. The police force organizes garbage collection, clears sewers, cleans up fallen trees, helps people rebuild collapsed walls, and re-roofs houses that have been blown off.
In Suoi Trai commune, the police force helped people collect materials and re-roof 10 houses. Mr. Nay Y Rap (Xay Dung village, Suoi Trai commune) said: The villagers were very happy when the police officers guided and supported them in anchoring their houses before the storm and re-roofing their houses after the storm.
At Le Van Tam Secondary School (Phu Mo Commune), Dak Lak police officers and soldiers cleaned houses and school supplies; trimmed fallen trees and cleaned up mud... At the scene, although the amount of work was huge and everyone was tired, the police officers' faces showed joy because they were able to help people stabilize their lives soon.
Joining the working group to help people overcome the consequences of the storm, Major Dinh Xuan Hoang, Head of the Dak Lak Provincial Police Youth Union, felt proud and saw more clearly the pioneering responsibility of the police youth. He said: "In all circumstances, police officers always try to demonstrate the spirit of "Most Disciplined, Most Loyal, Closest to the People", ready to be present in the most difficult places to help people. Through this activity, I further realize that the role of setting an example, solidarity and action of each comrade union member is very meaningful in spreading the spirit of serving the people."

Currently, the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13 is still being carried out by Dak Lak police officers and soldiers to help ethnic people as well as local authorities stabilize their lives, resume production and develop the economy and society.
