Two young men were caught red-handed illegally possessing drugs in Thoi Son ward.

On the afternoon of November 12, An Giang Provincial Police said they were continuing to investigate and clarify the case of two subjects discovered illegally possessing drugs in Thoi Son ward.

At around 4:00 p.m. on November 11, receiving reports from local residents about two suspicious individuals in group 15, Xuan Hoa hamlet, Thoi Son ward, the ward police force quickly arrived at the scene.

There, the police discovered Tran Tri Tam (28 years old, residing in Thoi Son ward) and Pham Quoc Khanh (29 years old, residing in Binh Thanh Dong commune) sitting in the alley, Tam holding a blue metal box in his hand. Checking inside, the police discovered a nylon bag containing white crystals suspected to be drugs, along with a glass crossbow, two gas lighters and two sharp-cut straws.

Thoi Son Ward Police have drawn up a record of the two suspects caught red-handed for illegally possessing narcotics. The case is being further investigated and clarified.
