Mr. Bui Thai Hoang - Chairman of Vinh Xuong Commune People's Committee said: "The commune focuses on developing border gate economy associated with border trade, aiming to form a modern trading center of the upstream region. We recommend that superiors soon deploy Vinh Xuong commercial and industrial zone and 62ha entertainment and recreation area, creating momentum for logistics development, cultural tourism , contributing to enhancing the position of the border region".

The transportation system is an important "link" in the development strategy. When National Highway 80B and Provincial Road 950 are invested synchronously, the Vinh Xuong border trade economy has the opportunity to make a strong breakthrough. These two routes not only shorten the time for transporting goods but also open up new development space for trade, services and border tourism. According to Mr. Bui Thai Hoang, when the infrastructure is smoothly connected, the Vinh Xuong border trade economy will develop rapidly, which is the foundation for the formation of the Vinh Xuong - Khanh Binh international border gate economic zone in the future.

On the newly opened roads, convoys of trucks lined up to enter and exit the border gate, rows of small shops sprang up along the roadside, and people were bustling about trading. The bustling atmosphere of the border area was spreading, signaling a new rhythm of life taking shape at the source of the river.

Administrative reform breakthrough

Along with infrastructure development, Vinh Xuong considers administrative reform and digital transformation as key solutions to improve competitiveness. The commune has implemented 100% of administrative procedures online, especially in areas related to businesses such as business registration, tax, customs, social insurance, etc. Many procedures have shortened processing time, creating convenience for people and investors. Secretary of Vinh Xuong Commune Party Committee Tran Hoa Hop shared: "Administrative reform is not only about changing processes but also about innovating service thinking. When people have their work resolved quickly and transparently, they will trust the government more and be willing to accompany in development."

In addition, the commune also encourages organizations, cooperatives, and enterprises to apply digital technology in production, business, and management. Smart agricultural models and linking agricultural product consumption through digital platforms help farmers reduce costs and increase profits. Mr. Huynh Van Hiep - Director of Vinh Xuong Fruit Cooperative said: "Thanks to the application of technology, we can easily trace the origin, sign online orders, and find stable output. The government supports capital and technology to help farmers boldly switch crops."

Since being recognized as a new rural area, the appearance of Vinh Xuong has changed dramatically, the roads are spacious, clean and beautiful, and the people's lives are increasingly prosperous. Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, a resident of Vinh Xuong commune, shared: "We agree with the development direction of the locality. Seeing our hometown improve day by day, everyone is excited."

According to Mr. Tran Hoa Hop, in the coming time, the locality will continue to promote its border strengths, synchronously carry out key tasks such as developing border gate economy, trade, services, high-tech agriculture, promoting administrative reform, building digital government, and improving people's lives. "Our goal is to build Vinh Xuong into a dynamic, modern and sustainably developing economic region. With the attention of the province and the consensus of the people, Vinh Xuong will soon affirm its role as a new growth pole of An Giang," Mr. Tran Hoa Hop emphasized.
