Nearly 490 An Giang preschool teachers participate in the provincial competition for excellent teachers

An Giang Department of Education and Training mobilized 129 judges to participate in the exam. The exam took place from November 24 to December 3, 2025.

In the 2025-2026 provincial competition for excellent teachers of preschool education institutions, the whole An Giang province has 489 teachers teaching in public and private preschools, nurseries, and kindergartens participating.

Judges attended the meeting to disseminate the contest preparations.

Accordingly, each teacher taking the exam must pass two parts.

In the practical part, teachers organize an educational activity according to the educational plan at the time of the competition. Teachers are notified by the Organizing Committee no more than 2 days before the competition to prepare. 15 minutes before the competition, teachers will be drawn to choose 1 of 3 activities (learning activities, corner activities, outdoor activities) and submit a plan to organize the drawn activity (in writing) to the Jury; the educational activity participating in the competition must be organized for the first time in a group or class.

After the practical exam, the participating teacher presents a measure to contribute to improving the quality of teaching at the educational institution where the teacher is working. The presentation time of the measure shall not exceed 30 minutes, including the time for the Jury to discuss.

The contest aims to discover, recognize and honor teachers who have achieved the title of excellent teachers at the preschool level, replicate advanced models, and motivate teachers to strive and improve themselves to meet the requirements of innovation and improve the quality of care, education and child rearing.
