Specifically, Ho Chi Minh City assigned the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with the City Council of Rectors' Working Group to absorb all opinions expressed at the meeting to complete the report and direction of the Council of Rectors' operation plan in 2026. In particular, it was agreed to adjust the topic name to: "Promoting the role of the Council of Rectors of Universities for the "super urban" area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City: Connection - Integration - Innovation". At the same time, it added a report on the implementation results of the sectors, the implementation results of the conclusions of the Chairman of the Council of Rectors, and the implementation results of the Central Resolutions.

Supplement the 2026 operational direction on the evaluation work in the 5 years of operation, shaping the activities in the next 5 years; reorganize the City Principals Council, possibly invite some typical enterprises to participate and study mechanisms and policies to operate more effectively and efficiently.
