The proportion of women increases, the role is affirmed
According to the summary report on gender equality work for the period 2021 - 2025 and the plan for the period 2026 - 2031, by the end of October 2025, KHoPC had 549 officers and employees; of which 74 were female, accounting for 13.48% of the total number of employees. Compared to 2021, the number of female employees increased by 6 people, demonstrating a positive trend in human resources policy and creating opportunities for women to participate in many areas of the electricity industry. Notably, the proportion of women in the planning of leadership staff for the periods 2021 - 2026 and 2026 - 2031 both reached more than 17%; many female officers held key positions, contributing to ensuring operational efficiency, business and customer service.

Mr. Do Nguyen Hung - Director of KHoPC, Head of the Company's Women's Advancement Committee, said: "In the period of 2021 - 2025, the Company's Women's Advancement Committee has implemented many propaganda and training activities on gender equality and capacity building for female staff. Accordingly, the Company's Women's Advancement Committee launched the movement "Men and Gender Equality", attracting more than 270/531 staff and employees to participate in online discussions; organized programs "Creative EVN Women", "Good at public work, good at housework" and "Beauty of EVN Women"... Thereby, some women in the company have achieved outstanding achievements such as: Ms. Dao Thi My Phuong (Deputy Head of Finance - Accounting Department), Nguyen Vu Thien Trang (Sales Department)...".
On the other hand, the company also pays attention to policies to take care of the mental and physical life of female employees such as: Organizing periodic health check-ups for 100% of female employees; supporting employees to raise young children; organizing cultural and sports activities and rewarding children of officers and employees with good academic achievements... "The company always pays attention to creating conditions for female employees to participate in training courses to improve their professional qualifications, leadership skills and balance between work and life. Gender equality is not only a responsibility but also a driving force for sustainable development", Mr. Do Nguyen Hung shared.
Building capacity, narrowing the gender gap
Entering the 2026 - 2031 period, KHoPC aims to continue narrowing the gender gap, striving for the proportion of women in recruitment to reach 20 - 25%; female managers to account for at least 13%; 100% of female workers to participate in training and fostering digital transformation skills, adapting to new technologies; organizing at least 1 communication activity to eliminate gender stereotypes and 1 inspirational program "Creative EVN Women" each year. At the same time, the company also focuses on building a flexible working environment, encouraging men to share responsibilities in the family; organizing programs to support pregnant women, women raising young children, and taking care of the elderly, while continuing to maintain the movement "Good at public work, good at housework". These indicators will be the basis for assessing the actual results of gender equality, not only in terms of quantity but also in the quality of female human resources, contributing to the model of "Electricity enterprises developing sustainably - equally - humanely".

With the attention and direction of the Central Power Corporation, the KHoPC Board of Directors, and the awareness and efforts of each female staff member, gender equality work at KHoPC has become a typical bright spot in the regional electricity industry. The maturity, confidence and creativity of female staff members not only improve production and business efficiency but also clearly demonstrate the mettle and intelligence of women in the electricity industry in the period of integration and digital transformation, contributing to brightening the "electricity of trust" in the dynamic and innovative land of Khanh Hoa.
With the theme “Gender equality and safety for women and girls in the digital age”, KHoPC is focusing on promoting the message “Zero tolerance for harassment and violence against women in cyberspace”. To raise awareness among staff about preventing gender-based violence and promoting civilized behavior in the digital environment, from November 15 to December 15, all affiliated units simultaneously hung banners, ran electronic propaganda boards at headquarters, and posted messages about gender equality on the company's website and fanpage. Every small action contributes to spreading humane values, encouraging respect, sharing and companionship between men and women in work and life. In addition, the company continues to affirm its commitment to building a corporate culture without gender bias, creating conditions for female staff to promote their capacity and actively contribute to the overall development of the electricity industry.
