(SGTT) – From early November to the end of December, Da Lat enters the season of pink grass – a time when many hills in the suburbs turn a characteristic brown and pink hue. This is a type of wild grass that grows in low clumps, belonging to the coniferous group, and usually appears after the rainy season ends.

When the morning dew still clings to the leaves and the first rays of sunlight shine down, the grass surface reflects the light, creating a sparkling effect as if covered with a thin layer of snow. Therefore, locals also call this the "snow grass season." Photo: Bao An
