Arrest of subject who seriously stabbed a pawn shop owner and then escaped

The police investigation agency transferred the suspect to La Gi ward to reconstruct the developments of the case.

As reported, at around 10pm on November 9, Mr. D.VS (temporarily residing in Quarter 4, Phuoc Hoi Ward), owner of Hung Phuc pawn shop, and another man rode a motorbike to the concrete road area of Tan Ly Cemetery (La Gi Ward). On the way, because they did not have money to redeem the motorbike, the two got into an argument, then the person sitting behind suddenly pulled out a weapon and stabbed Mr. S., seriously injuring him.

According to initial information, after committing the crime, the suspect quickly fled to the center of Lam Dong province to avoid being arrested by the authorities. However, thanks to the close coordination between professional units, PC02 Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police arrested the suspect while he was hiding there.

Reconstructing the crime scene at Mr. D.V.S's pawn shop

Through working with the authorities, the suspect revealed his name as Huynh Ngoc Gia Huy (born 2007; residing in Quarter 3, Phuoc Hoi Ward, Lam Dong Province).

On the morning of November 12, during the process of transporting the suspect to La Gi ward, the Commander of La Gi ward police mobilized officers and soldiers to coordinate with PC02 Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police and local security forces to protect the scene and support the reconstruction of the case.

The police investigation agency reconstructed the crime scene with evidence.

Currently, the case is being investigated, clarified and handled by the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Province Police in coordination with relevant agencies according to the provisions of law.
