According to the agreement, the two sides agreed to cooperate to build connections, share potential, exploit and maximize the resources and strengths of each side to cooperate, coordinate in implementing training, fostering and developing human resources; policy consulting; scientific and technological research, innovation, digital transformation; smart urban development; international cooperation to serve the common development of Gia Lai province and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics .

Specifically, the cooperation agreement focuses on five key areas: Cooperation in training, fostering and developing human resources; cooperation in policy consultation and feedback; cooperation in scientific and technological research, innovation, digital transformation; cooperation in smart urban development; and cooperation in international relations.

At the working session, leaders of provincial departments and branches and representatives of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics discussed and exchanged specific cooperation orientations in the period 2025-2030, focusing on areas suitable to the socio-economic development needs of the province and the research and training capacity of the school.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee expressed his joy at the official signing of the cooperation agreement between the two sides, considering this an important first step in the cooperation process between Gia Lai province and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Gia Lai is in the stage of promoting economic restructuring, attracting investment, developing high-quality human resources, promoting the application of artificial intelligence and semiconductor industry. In that context, the accompaniment of prestigious educational institutions such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics is of great significance and helps the province in training human resources to meet the requirements in the new period.

Leaders of Gia Lai province and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics signed a cooperation agreement.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to proactively coordinate with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City to concretize the cooperation contents with practical programs, projects and activities, suitable to the actual conditions of the province. In particular, it is necessary to soon develop a cooperation plan to train and foster leaders and managers, as well as research and deploy models of innovation, digital economy, smart cities and sustainable development.

Comrade Lam Hai Giang believes that with the prestige, capacity and experience of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, together with the determination and initiative of Gia Lai province, today's cooperation agreement will bring practical results, making positive contributions to the development of the province in the coming time.

Immediately after the working session, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement, marking a new development step in the cooperative relationship between Gia Lai province and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, aiming at the goal of working together in human resource development, innovation and international integration.
