On November 13, in Tay Ninh province, the delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and the delegation of the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense held an inauguration ceremony for the boarding classrooms of Ben Cau Primary School. This project was donated by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.
This is a meaningful event within the framework of the 2nd Vietnam - Cambodia Border Defense Friendship Exchange.
The Vietnamese delegation was led by General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, and Minister of National Defense. On the Cambodian side, the delegation was led by General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense.

Ben Cau Primary School (in Thuan Lam Hamlet, Ben Cau Commune) was established in 1994. To meet the needs of educational development in the border area, in August 2025, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense started construction of a new boarding classroom area.
The project has a scale of 1 ground floor, 3 floors, including 12 functional rooms. Including 6 classrooms, 1 computer room, 1 library, 2 teacher's rooms and 2 student's rooms.
Mr. Le Tan Phuoc - Principal of Ben Cau Primary School - shared that when the new project is put into use, it will meet the increasing learning needs of students, create a modern educational environment, and contribute to helping students develop comprehensively.

"This is a great joy for the teachers and students of the school. The school is very grateful and thankful to the Ministry of National Defense and all levels of government for supporting the school to have a spacious and modern classroom area," said Mr. Phuoc.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Tea Seiha, Minister of National Defense of Cambodia, expressed his belief that the new facility will contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning. He also wished the students to study hard, become "green shoots" of the future, contributing to fostering the strong friendship between the two countries.

At the end of the ceremony, General Phan Van Giang and General Tea Seiha, along with the school's board of directors, cut the ribbon, visited the classrooms and presented many meaningful gifts to teachers and students of Ben Cau Primary School.
