Record high prize at VTV9 Open Pickleball Tournament 2025

(NLDO) - The VTV9 Open 2025 Pickleball Tournament takes place from December 19 to 21 with a prize of 200 million VND for the champion.

Vietnam Television Station - Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VTV9) in collaboration with VTVCab, Vietnam Pickleball Federation, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture - Sports and other accompanying units organized the "Pickleball VTV9 Open 2025" Tournament.

The tournament took place from December 19 to 21, at Banger Stadium (90 Song Hanh, Binh Trung Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), gathering more than 600 athletes from clubs across the country, combining amateur and professional competition.

With the message "Reaching high with Pickleball - Connecting youth, spreading energy", the tournament aims to promote the community sports movement, bringing Pickleball - the fastest growing sport in North America - closer to Vietnamese audiences.

This tournament will be broadcast live on VTV9 channel and broadcast simultaneously on digital platforms vtv9.vtv.vn, VTV9 Open Sports Fanpage, VTV9 Highlight and TikTok @vtv9highlight.

Actor and model Binh Minh, as image ambassador and organizing committee member of the VTV9 Open 2025 Pickleball Tournament, highly appreciated the professional quality of this tournament.

In 2025, the tournament will be marked by an impressive prize of up to 2 billion VND, including cash and gifts from sponsors - the highest in the history of Pickleball Vietnam. The champion will take home 200 million VND, the runner-up will receive 60 million VND, the third place will receive 40 million VND and many other prizes for the men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
