Implementing disciplinary procedures for the Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School

(NLDO) - Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat is carrying out disciplinary proceedings against Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga, Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School.

On November 13, according to a source from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat ( Lam Dong Province) are carrying out a parallel disciplinary process in terms of the Party and the government against Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga, Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School.

Trung Vuong Primary School will resume serving meals to students.

As of now, the second suspension period for Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga, Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School, has ended. However, Ms. Nga has not yet been allowed to go to work.

Previously, on September 24, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat temporarily suspended Ms. Nga from work for a period of 15 working days. When the period expired, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat continued to extend the suspension for the second time.

Regarding Trung Vuong Primary School, after nearly 2 months of suspending boarding activities, it is expected that in the next few days the school will serve boarding meals again to students on November 17; boarding meal time is from 10:30 to 13:30, applied from Monday to Thursday every week.

According to the leader of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, the menu is built to ensure nutrition, safety, and suitability for students' ages; the school will strengthen the inspection and supervision of food processing and storage processes and ensure absolute safety for students.

Previously, Ms. NTKT (a kitchen staff at Trung Vuong Primary School for the 2024-2025 school year, Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province - currently retired) filed a complaint against the import of dirty food into this school.

Accordingly, on some days, food imported into the school showed unusual signs such as boiled meat turned green; boiled shrimp had black heads; beef was mixed with oil; beef balls showed signs of freezing; bones had an odor.

During the exchange on the night of September 19, Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga affirmed that when the dirty food was discovered, the school had handled it and did not cook it for the students. However, Ms. T. stood up to affirm that the food was cooked and the students were "eaten" and not destroyed. The whistleblower affirmed: "Because of my conscience and morality, I cannot hide this for myself. If I tell the truth, I will take responsibility before the law."

The incident attracted the attention of many parents, not only of Trung Vuong Primary School.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Health to coordinate with the Provincial Police Inspection Team to continue verifying and clarifying the above reflection; clarifying the causes, responsibilities of related organizations and individuals and remedial solutions.
