Hoa Phat introduces high-speed rail steel model at international railway exhibition

Within the framework of the International Exhibition and Conference on Railway Technology and Infrastructure (VRT&CONS 2025), Hoa Phat Group participated in the booth to introduce a number of specialized steel products serving railway projects such as high-speed railway rails, urban railway rails, structural steel, prestressed steel. The event took place from November 12 to 15, 2025 at Hall H3, National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).

This is the first international exhibition and conference on railway and infrastructure held in Vietnam. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy and delegates visited the Group's booth. Leaders of the Ministry of Construction highly appreciated Hoa Phat's steel production capacity, especially steel for transport and railway infrastructure.

"To realize the aspiration of building a modern railway system, we really need the sharing, companionship and cooperation of businesses in the supply chain with the viewpoint: Your success is our success," said the leader of the Ministry of Construction at the event.

Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy and representatives of ministries and branches visited samples of rail steel, structural steel and prestressed steel of Hoa Phat.

Hoa Phat's booth introduces a number of special steel products serving railway projects such as high-speed railway rails, urban railway rails, structural steel, prestressed steel.

Hoa Phat is implementing a project to produce steel rails and shaped steel in Dung Quat. The output products are special steels such as high-speed railway rails, urban railway rails, crane rails, shaped steels (U, I, H, V) and other special steels. The factory is expected to produce steel rails in 2027, serving key railway projects in Vietnam and exporting to international markets.

Hoa Phat is the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia, equivalent to the Top 30 largest steel enterprises in the world . From 2026, Hoa Phat's steel production capacity will reach 16 million tons/year, mainly HRC steel and high-quality steel, contributing to fully meeting the needs of domestic and foreign markets.

According to the Organizing Committee, VRT & CONS 2025 brings together nearly 90 domestic and international enterprises and organizations from Germany, China, Korea, Japan, Austria, Thailand, Malaysia, Switzerland, the UK and many other countries and territories. With the theme "The Future of Vietnam Railways in the Global Supply Chain", the series of events takes place from November 12-15, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi.
