Spreading the spirit of innovation from educational writings
Participating in the National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" in 2025, journalist Do Thi Yen Hoa (Ho Chi Minh City Education Magazine) shared that her series of articles were born from the vibrant life in the schools that she has been associated with for many years.
For her, every working trip and every conversation with teachers and students is an opportunity to listen to the breath of innovation in Vietnamese education in the digital age.
"Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo , issued on December 22, 2024, shows the strategic vision of the Party and State in developing the country based on science, technology and digital transformation. For education, this is considered the 'contract 10' of the industry - creating institutions and driving forces for breakthrough development," Ms. Hoa shared about the inspiration for the work.
According to her, digital transformation in education has been raised for many years, but there are still many difficulties in terms of mechanism, awareness and infrastructure. Therefore, when Resolution 57 was issued, she clearly felt a new vitality spreading in each school.
"I wish to acknowledge the vibrant competitive atmosphere in each school when Resolution 57 has created motivation, removed bottlenecks, and cleared the flow in both thinking and action, so that schools and teachers can be more bold in applying science , technology, and digital transformation to innovate teaching and school management," said journalist Yen Hoa.
During more than a month and a half of implementing the series, Ms. Hoa had the opportunity to practically approach many innovative models in Ho Chi Minh City - the locality with the largest educational scale in the country, diverse from inner city to suburban areas and island communes.
"Immediately after Resolution 57 was issued, the city's education sector took action very quickly. Digital classrooms were formed, technology training sessions took place enthusiastically. I clearly saw the confidence of teachers, the trust of parents and the excitement of students when studying in a more modern environment," she recounted.
According to the female journalist, this is a methodical step, helping the city's education go in the right direction, effectively implementing the 2018 General Education Program and improving overall quality.

From love of the profession to the mission of spreading education
The decision to participate in the National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" in 2025, for journalist Do Thi Yen Hoa, is not to seek awards, but to spread the spirit of innovation in the education sector through a journalistic perspective.
"This is a big playground where education writers can learn, exchange and nurture inspiration. In particular, the award is a great source of encouragement for every journalist in the education field to have more motivation to try harder, stick with the profession, stick with school, stick with class," she confided.
Looking back over the 8 years of organization, she assessed that this Journalism Award plays an important role in spreading the humanistic values of education. Each article not only reflects new policies or models, but is also a "small slice" to help society better understand and accompany education.
She shared: "The education sector today is receiving strong attention from the Party and the State, demonstrated through three major resolutions: Resolution 57 on science, technology - innovation - digital transformation; Resolution 59 on international integration and Resolution 71 on breakthroughs in education and training development. For me, the series of articles is a way to share the joy of teachers and schools in the current attention of the Party and the State for education."

With the series of works "Resolution 57 strongly promotes education", journalist Yen Hoa not only reflects the achievements of digital transformation in schools, but also conveys a message of trust, consensus and aspiration for innovation.
That is also the spirit of journalists in the education sector - those who quietly write to honor teachers and students and record the sustainable progress of the industry.
