Survey and evaluate the current status of databases and administrative procedures under the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On November 13, in Hanoi, the Survey Team of the Project 06 Implementation Working Group led by Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Director of the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security, had a working session with the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on surveying and assessing the current status of databases (CSDL) and administrative procedures (TTHC) of ministries and branches according to Plan No. 2, Resolution 214.

This survey is part of a series of activities to inspect and evaluate the current status of database and administrative procedure implementation in ministries and branches, chaired by the Project 06 Implementation Working Group, to assess the level of readiness in terms of infrastructure, digital platform, human resources, information security, as well as the ability to exploit, share and use shared data.

At the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Vinh, Deputy Director of the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security, shared an overview of the progress and challenges in implementing the Government 's plans and resolutions related to digital transformation and building a national database; at the same time, he asked delegates to focus on exchanging, discussing, and jointly resolving current difficulties and obstacles, especially issues related to the legal framework, business processes and investment capital.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Vinh affirmed that only when these bottlenecks are resolved synchronously can the national digital transformation process take place substantially, effectively and sustainably.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: The meeting was organized to grasp, inspect and comprehensively evaluate the current status of implementation of databases and administrative procedures under the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, thereby serving the work of synthesizing and evaluating the results of implementing Resolution 214/NQ - CP, contributing to promoting digital transformation in State management, reforming administrative procedures and connecting and sharing data between ministries, branches and localities in accordance with the Government's orientation.

This is also an important content to serve the work of summarizing and evaluating the results of implementing Project 06 and building the direction and implementation roadmap of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the period of 2025 - 2030, ensuring that the data system of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is built in a centralized, unified, safe, shared and effective manner, contributing to promoting comprehensive digital transformation in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.

Thereby, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan hopes that at the meeting, delegates representing the Departments of Professional Affairs and the presiding agencies of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will discuss and share difficulties and problems in accessing the system and data and coordinate to evaluate and propose solutions to ensure the meeting takes place effectively and achieves the set goals.

At the meeting, delegates exchanged, discussed and evaluated the following contents: Current status of the Databases according to Plan 02, Resolution 214 that units have built and are building. No assessment will be made for Databases that have not been built; Survey of administrative procedures according to Plan 02, Resolution 214 and 15 types of documents with data to replace the profile components; Deploying investment projects to build each Database; Evaluating the implementation of the Information System model for handling administrative procedures according to Document No. 5721 of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Evaluating the implementation of the Data Law;...

At the end of the working session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan said: "Through the working session, the Center has a better understanding of the regulations, requirements as well as detailed instructions from the Survey Team. In the coming time, the Center will continue to closely coordinate with accompanying units to ensure the progress of the assigned items. The implementation period is an urgent period, so the Center hopes to receive support from relevant units so that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism can successfully complete its tasks in 2025, 2026 and the following years."

Speaking at the end of the working session, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Vinh, Deputy Director of the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security, shared: The survey was completed on schedule, with preliminary assessment and recording in the minutes summarizing the working content. However, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp the principle that progress must not be delayed. I hope that the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism and units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will make the greatest effort to ensure the common goal. In particular, the most important is the role of the "captain" in each field, who must have a firm grasp of the profession, proactively control, and coordinate with the consulting unit to promptly resolve any problems.
