Hung Yen aims to bring education and training into the top 10 nationwide.

GD&TĐ - According to the draft Plan, Hung Yen aims to have its education and training sector among the top 10 provinces and cities in the country by 2030.

On the afternoon of November 12, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province Pham Van Nghiem chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen to and give opinions on the plan to implement Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP of the Government promulgating the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.

According to the draft, by 2030, Hung Yen aims to be among the top 10 provinces and cities in the country in education ; complete universal preschool education for children aged 3-5, compulsory education up to the end of junior high school; 95% of educational institutions meet national standards and 100% of high schools complete comprehensive digital transformation.

By 2035, the province strives to complete universal high school education, 60% of graduates will achieve foreign language proficiency level 2 or higher, 80% of vocational training facilities will meet national standards, and at the same time, form a regional college center for high-quality vocational training.

By 2045, Hung Yen aims to have a modern, equitable, internationally integrated education system and become a center for training highly skilled human resources in the Red River Delta region.

To achieve these goals, the province focuses on raising awareness and political determination in education development; innovating specific mechanisms and policies; promoting digital transformation, applying artificial intelligence in teaching and learning; building a team of teachers and educational managers with sufficient capacity and qualities; developing vocational education, improving university education; and enhancing international cooperation and integration.

At the meeting, delegates contributed opinions on key tasks, coordination mechanisms, investment in facilities, digital transformation infrastructure and improving the quality of teaching staff.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Nghiem requested the Department of Education and Training to complete the plan, ensuring feasibility and synchronization with practical conditions; at the same time, closely coordinate with departments, branches and localities to effectively implement the set goals.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province emphasized that improving the quality of comprehensive education, developing students' morality, intelligence, physical fitness and aesthetics, while preparing facilities, digital transformation and applying modern technology are decisive factors for Hung Yen to become a high-quality, internationally integrated educational center in the coming years.
