Agribank supports 50 million VND to help Phu Mo Primary School overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

On the morning of November 12, a working delegation of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank) led by Mr. Vuong Hong Linh, Deputy General Director of Agribank, visited, encouraged, and presented 50 million VND to support Phu Mo Primary School (Phu Mo commune) to overcome the consequences of storm No. 13.

Storm No. 13 made landfall, bringing with it massive floods from upstream, causing Phu Mo Primary School to be deeply submerged; books, desks, chairs, and teaching equipment were damaged and covered with mud, directly affecting the school's teaching and learning.

Agribank Deputy General Director Vuong Hong Linh presented a symbolic board of support of 50 million VND to Phu Mo Primary School to overcome damage caused by storm No. 13.

Coming to the scene, seeing the extent of the damage and listening to the difficulties of teachers and students of the school, Agribank Deputy General Director Vuong Hong Linh shared: "In addition to business activities, Agribank is always a pioneer in social security activities and community support. We hope that this support will help teachers and students of Phu Mo Primary School quickly stabilize teaching and learning activities after the storm and flood."

Many documents and books of teachers and students of Phu Mo Primary School were damaged due to being soaked in flood water.

Mr. Le Van Hoa, Principal of Phu Mo Primary School, representing the school, expressed his sincere thanks for the timely and practical attention and support of Agribank.

“This support is a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping the school to make efforts to overcome the damage and continue the journey of "sowing letters" in this land with many difficulties,” said Mr. Hoa.

Previously, right after the storm and flood receded, a working delegation from Agribank Phu Yen Branch led by Mr. Phan Thong Thai, Branch Director, promptly visited, encouraged, and gave 10 million VND to support the school in overcoming the consequences of the storm and flood.
