Signing contract to implement Ngu Lac Industrial Park project

On the afternoon of November 13, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Ngu Lac commune coordinated with Green i-Park Dinh An Joint Stock Company and the Land Fund Development Center to organize a contract signing ceremony to implement the project of investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Ngu Lac Industrial Park (Green IP-2).

The project is being implemented in Cay Da and Cay Xoai hamlets (Ngu Lac commune) with an area of 316 hectares, total investment capital of 3,000 billion VND, invested by Green i-Park Dinh An Joint Stock Company. The completed project will attract many manufacturing enterprises, create jobs for about 25,000 workers, contribute to increasing budget revenue and promoting the transformation of local economic structure towards industrialization and modernization.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board - Nguyen Van Phuong said: After the merger, Vinh Long now has an economic zone of more than 39,000 hectares, 17 planned industrial parks, of which 5 have been put into operation, attracting 212 projects, total capital of more than 85,000 billion VND and 4 billion USD, creating jobs for more than 104,000 workers, contributing to the budget more than 4,000 billion VND/year.

The signing of the compensation, support and resettlement contract demonstrates the determination of the parties in ensuring the rights of the people, and at the same time commits to implementing it openly, transparently and in accordance with the law. Ngu Lac commune strictly manages planning, marking, and land acquisition notices; while the investor closely coordinates with the locality in site clearance and infrastructure construction to ensure progress, quality and environmental factors, towards forming a green, modern and sustainable industrial park.
