In many cases, after receiving the money, these individuals cut off contact or engage in fraudulent activities such as refunding tickets after they have been issued, causing losses to passengers.
Ahead of the peak travel season for the 2026 Lunar New Year, Vietnam Airlines recommends that passengers proactively purchase tickets early and only through the airline's official channels to ensure their rights and avoid the risks of counterfeit tickets, inflated prices, or fraudulent activities that are on the rise during peak periods.
Vietnam Airlines recommends that passengers only purchase tickets through the official website www.vietnamairlines.com, the "Vietnam Airlines" mobile application, ticket offices, and official agents of the airline. When purchasing tickets, passengers should request an invoice from the seller in accordance with regulations to ensure their rights. For support and ticket information verification, passengers can contact the Customer Service Hotline, the airline's official Zalo account, or Facebook Fanpage.
In addition, during peak periods, the airline encourages passengers to plan early, book and purchase tickets in advance, and flexibly choose early morning or night flights – these times usually have more seats and more reasonable prices compared to peak hours.
