Bruno is being eyed by Bayern. |
According to Fichajes , Bayern will submit a €50 million offer to buy Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United, after learning that the Old Trafford club is planning to offload the 1994-born star.
"Bayern found an opportunity to sign Bruno after the player's frank statements about the internal situation at MU recently," the Spanish newspaper reported.
Recently, Bruno Fernandes gave a controversial interview to Canal 11. It resembled an indictment, with Fernandes acting as both witness and accuser. When he stated that Manchester United's executives prioritized "money above all else," Fernandes wasn't just bringing up the near-move to the Saudi Pro League. He directly questioned the club's operating philosophy under INEOS. This was a serious accusation, especially coming from a player who was wearing the captain's armband.
Fernandes went even further, claiming that "loyalty is no longer valued" and that the management lacked the "courage" to confront coach Ruben Amorim, who wanted to keep him.
According to several sources in England, a notable clause in the contract between Manchester United and Bruno Fernandes allows the midfielder to leave Old Trafford for a fee of £56.6 million. However, this clause only applies to clubs outside the Premier League. This figure is also significantly lower than the £100 million offer that Saudi Arabian clubs were willing to pay for Fernandes last summer.
