Fire engulfs wood company in Binh Duong

As of 0:00 on July 4, dozens of officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Duong Province, in coordination with Tan Uyen City Police, were still trying to control a large fire that broke out at a company located in an industrial park.

According to initial information, at around 10 p.m. the same day, a fire suddenly broke out from a factory of a wood manufacturing company located in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park (Khanh Binh Ward, Tan Uyen City) accompanied by several loud explosions.

Within minutes, a fierce fire broke out and engulfed nearby factories inside the company. Workers were shouting to each other and running away to escape.

The heat from the fire also affected neighboring companies, forcing workers to evacuate to ensure safety.

Firefighters arrived at the scene, but were having difficulty extinguishing the fire due to the intensity of the fire. The factory’s metal roof almost completely collapsed, and the items inside were burned.

Currently, the fire fighting force is approaching the fire area from all directions to spray water to prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding area.

The cause and damage of the fire are being investigated by authorities.
