Untouched beauty
In early summer, the waves at Quang Cong and Quang Ngan beaches become gentle, as if inviting visitors from afar. Without flashy marketing, this coastal area still captivates people with its simple beauty and the genuine smiles of its people.
The beach here is pristine and unspoiled, largely untouched by urbanization. Every early morning, before the sun rises, the basket boats return, carrying fresh seafood.
Tourists don't need to look for gourmet dishes; a platter of charcoal-grilled mackerel, a few sun-dried squid grilled with chili, or a steaming bowl of rich seafood porridge is enough to satisfy their cravings. The newly renovated, simple eateries along the coast are ready to serve these rustic dishes.
The sea in their homeland is not just a resting place, but also the soul of the land. The people of Quang Cong and Quang Ngan live harmoniously and simply, just like the land they have lived on for generations.
"We love taking photos for social media, but besides the beautiful pictures, it's the simplicity and sincerity of this place that makes us want to come back again," Lan Anh, a student from Hanoi, exclaimed.
Experiential tourism , green tourism
As experiential and eco-tourism trends gain popularity, the coastal areas of Quang Cong and Quang Ngan are gradually becoming favorite destinations. Tourists can stay in simple homestays nestled among pine forests, choose from a variety of fresh seafood, or listen to locals tell stories about the sea.
Local authorities are also getting involved in developing sustainable tourism. Models such as homestays, fishing experience tours, visits to traditional fish sauce villages, and mangrove forest exploration are gradually taking shape.
"Nowadays, guests prefer natural, clean, and friendly spaces. Therefore, we choose to protect the marine environment by minimizing waste and using eco-friendly materials," said Tran Van Dat, owner of Ruoc Village homestay.
In addition, Quang Cong and Quang Ngan are implementing many preferential policies to attract businesses to invest in Tan My, Cuong Giang, and Tan An beaches, with the aim of developing eco-tourism infrastructure, accommodation services, and check-in points to serve tourists from all over the world.
Not only the beaches of Quang Cong and Quang Ngan, but also the Tam Giang lagoon in the former Quang Loi commune is opening up a new journey of discovery. Aquaculture ponds have been renovated into photo spots; small fishing boats have been converted to serve tourists who want to explore the lagoon, listen to stories about their profession, and experience casting nets and catching fish...
"We hope to preserve the rustic charm so that every visitor feels like they are returning home," said Mr. Phan Dang Bao, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Loi (formerly) commune.
In Quang Cong (formerly), the model of environmental sanitation teams working in conjunction with tourism businesses is contributing to keeping the coastline clean. On weekends, various organizations mobilize to clean the beach – a small action but with great significance in preserving its beauty and building a green, clean, and sustainable tourism brand.
Without the hustle and bustle, the local beach welcomes visitors with genuine sincerity. Anyone who has been there once will surely want to return, as if finding a haven of peace.
| Quang Dien (formerly) currently has 32 homestay establishments with over 110 rooms. The coastal areas of Quang Cong, Quang Ngan, and Quang Loi have become ideal destinations, especially in the summer. Images of the gentle blue sea and white sand here have spread widely on TikTok and Facebook, contributing to the flourishing tourism in Quang Dien. |
